My First Mother's Day!

So we just had a great weekend-and I had a great first Mother's Day! I had some relaxation and we also had some fun. We did a little arts and crafts on Sunday morning which I always love and then we went to a nearby park. It was a lot of fun to run around with Molly and to watch Isaac continuously grab at grass. haha. I truly feel blessed to have him in my life. He makes me smile everyday...I know it sounds cliche but seriously, being a mom is a feeling that is unexplainable! Hope all the other mommies out there had a great day!

Dinnertime=playtime

So, Isaac is doing really good eating his foods but he's decided that he wants to start grabbing and playing wtih this food now. I want him to learn to feed himself but he keeps grabbing the spoon on the part with all the food so he makes a mess! Check it out...

Getting around...

So I thought he was getting around before...check these out. I'm sure I'll be saying the same thing when he's ACTUALLY crawling, then walking, etc. lol

Isaac's new bathtub

So Molly kept eating Isaac's bathtubs and we decided to invest in something a little bigger. We bought him this inflatable duck. It's so cute because it's like his own little pool. And the beak quacks! =)

Isaac's Dedication

A couple of weeks ago Isaac got dedicated at the Vineyard in Kenner. It was a beautiful ceremony and a great chance for our family to get closer to God. I know I say this a lot but everyday I thank God for giving us Isaac. He truly has changed our lives for the better. After the dedication we had a BBQ. Thank you so much to everyone that helped to organize this-especially my dad and Holly. We also want to thank Jenny and Seg for being Isaac's godparents. Our hope is that Isaac will grow up and will have you both as special people in his life to help guide him in the right direction. We love ya'll!! My pictures came out crappy but hopefully I'll get some better ones and repost.
All the grandparents...bad quality =(
Horrible quality-I'll upload better ones later.

Austin's Army

Well, this year we are able to participate in the Angelman Walk. For those who don't know, our nephew Austin has Angelman Syndrome. Click here to donate or to find out more about Austin. We are so excited to be in Houston now so that we can be here to participate and to support the cause with family. We love you Austin!

Isaac is 7 months old!!

Ok, so apparently it's impossible for me to put a piece of paper next to Isaac without him destroying it. I also couldn't get him to sit up and hold the sign (and be able to hold it). He also wasn't feeling that well this day. Turns out he had roseola and he had a cold...still does a little bit. So in these pics he's relaxing. He's doing great overall. He doesn't keep still anymore and you can barely hold him unless he's sleepy. They said at daycare all he does is roll and scoot on the floor. He's also eating 3 servings a vegetables a day (2 at lunch and 1 at dinner). He's also eating rice cereal at breakfast. We're gonna try squash next and then start him on fruits. He's also sitting up for much longer periods on his own. He's also holding his bottle on his own (unless you show him you'll do it...he's lazy like that).I can't believe how fast he's growing up.

Notice the crinkled paper...
