Geaux Tigers!!

I've made posts about how much we love the Saints, and well...we share that love with the LSU Tigers. We're so excited that they'll be in the championship this year and that they're undefeated! Here are some pics of us rooting them on!

Thanksgiving 2011

Whew! Sorry I've been has been so busy! We have a new dietitian starting next week though so that'll definitely help :) This year we had a great Thanksgiving! It was the first time in years that we were able to spend the holiday with both my dad and my mom! In fact, we went to Lafayette to Tat and Omi's. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside with some beautiful decorations.

This year I am thankful for so much. First, my family-Andrew, Isaac, and Molly who keep me smiling each day. I'm also thankful for my family and well as Andrew's for being so supportive and helpful. I'm thankful for my new job and for Andrew's school as well. I am so blessed.

Trick or Treat!!

Although this was not Isaac's first Halloween, it was the first time that he was so excited for this day. He's been talking so well and it was so funny to hear him saying "trick or treat" over and over and over (and that was before they opened the door!). haha. The Saturday night before Halloween, we went to Lafreniere Park for Park-a-Boo. He had a blast doing some trick or treating, some carnival games, and getting his face painted.

On Halloween night, daddy had to work. But Goddie, Grandma, Isaac, Molly, and I went trick or treating in the neighborhood. He had so much fun and got some goodies! He looked so cute in his knight costume too :) Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Isaac's First Tailgating Experience!

We haven't tailgated this much, but since the Saints vs. Colts game was a night game we were able to tailgate this past weekend. And Tat's been wanting Isaac at a Saints game for awhile now...since that hasn't happened yet, this was the first step. He was out there with us from 10:30 to about 5 and he did great! We played with play doh, danced, and ate. We didn't have to resort to cartoons until the last hour. He had a blast tailgating with us. What a fun day with Tat and Omi! Thank you Nanny and Poppy for picking Isaac up for us (and dropping daddy off). And just because I bout dem Saints?! Who dat?!

Donuts with Daddy

Last week Isaac's school had Donuts with Daddy where they celebrated daddies! They sang a song and all the little chefs served up some donuts for their daddies. Isaac is so blessed to have such an awesome daddy. Of course I don't have a picture of them together because well, daddy didn't think of that! haha. We love you!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

A couple weeks ago Andrew chaperoned Isaac's field trip to the pumpkin patch. He had a blast riding the bus, picking out a pumpkin, and of course lunch with daddy! Andrew laughed because he didn't pick a normal pumpkin...he insisted on this butternut squash-pumpkin hybrid (well, I just made that up but that's what it looked like).

A Night at the Fair

Every year my old elementary/middle school has a big fair in the fall. I haven't been in a VERY long time, but when my mom reminded me about it I decided to head out there with Isaac. He rode some rides, played some games, and won some prizes...and Grandma, Daddy, and I had so much fun watching him run around!

A Day with Summer

As I mentioned in my last post, Isaac's cousin Summer was able to come his party for the first time. It was actually the first time that she was able to see Isaac's room and for them to hang out since Isaac has been talking so well. The day after his party Nanny and I took the kids to the zoo. They got to go in the petting zoo and see all kinds of animals. When we got back to the house, they played some more. It was so much fun to see them have fun together! We miss you already, Summer.

Here's them playing It :)

Pirate Party!

I made a mistake telling Isaac that he was having a pirate party about 3 months ago because that's all I've been hearing about...his "pirate pawty." We had a get together at the house with lots of pirate dress up stuff, a spacewalk, and a sandbox. Isaac was obsessed with digging for treasure and walking the plank. We also had a lot of good fun and a beautiful cake!! Isaac enjoyed singing happy birthday with everyone :). This party was extra special as well because it was the first time his cousin Summer was able to come to the party. Thank you so much to everyone that came out to celebrate. A special thanks to everyone that helped with the party and for Tat and Omi for helping us get the patio done in time for the party! We love it. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such great people.

Isaac is 3!!

Seems like only yesterday! This year Isaac spent his big day at school celebrating with his friends and eating chocolate cupcakes that mommy made. When I picked him up he had a crown on his head and he was singing happy birthday, so I'm assuming they sang to him? :) When we got home we had a lot of setting up to do for his birthday party (post to come soon!) But before the night was over, we gave him his birthday gift from mommy, daddy, and Molly. When he saw Summer's, we knew we had to get him one!
