First Trip to the Zoo!

Yesterday we went to the zoo for the first time. It wasn't too hot out so we got lucky. We brought our lunch and ate it there as well. Seemed like Isaac had fun until he fell asleep! And of course we couldn't leave without stopping at the gift shop.

I think this is absolutely wonderful...having done a rotation at WIC, I noticed some definite issues with some of the packages as well as the food habits of its participants. Special yay for the delay of infant cereal until 6 months and for the elimination of infant juice.

Just wanted to report that 2 more of Isaac's top teeth broke through the gums...little tiny specks of white. =)

Isaac is 11 months old!!

Big Boy Tub

So Isaac is in such a routine now. We give him his dinner at 7 and then get him naked and then he crawls to the bathroom for his bath. He's also in the big tub now...it's hard to contain him because all he wants to do is get up and try to climb out the tub.

Trip to the Children's Museum

This week Ashley and I took the kids to the Children's Museum. Even after the long wait, the kids had a blast! There's a section called the Tot Spot that was perfect for Isaac (and for Austin!) It's basically a big, matted area with lots of fun toys and built in little obstacles for the kids. We also took them outside for the water section. Then we had lunch before we left. Summer loves feeding Isaac those little Gerber puffs. And of course we couldn't leave without going to the gift shop first to get a toy. Thanks ya'll for such a great time!

Galveston Daytrip

This past weekend Tat, Omi, and Tio Shane came to visit. We went out to eat on Friday and then on Saturday we went to Galveston for a day trip. We spent most the day at Schlitterbahn which is a massive water park. It was fun but really crowded! Andrew and Shane went on almost all the slides, while we took Isaac to the kiddie pools. Looks like he had a blast too! That evening we went to The Strand which is the section where there are a lot of little shops, and we ate over there. Thanks for a great trip Tat and Omi!
