Elliot is 11 Months Old!

Once again, I am very late. But I still want to update with each month's pic. At 11 months Elliot has 5 (1/2) teeth. He's also letting go and standing on his own :). He is getting into everything and exploring around the house every minute of the day! As you can see from the pictures with the blocks. haha

Elliot's First Halloween!

This year Isaac was Wolverine for Halloween. Although I wanted the kids to match, it didn't happen. Instead, Elliot was a skeleton. But, they were too cute anyway :). We went over to my cousin's house, where Halloween is a big deal in their subdivision. It was a really wet, yucky night...but daddy braved the weather to trick or treat with Isaac anyway. Hope everyone else had a fun time!

Isaac is 5!

Where does the time go? At the end of September we had Isaac's fifth birthday party. It was really special too because it was the first party we've had at our new house. It's so nice to actually have the space. We did a Transformers theme and of course we had a lot of family come by for some fun. Thank you so much to all who helped make Isaac's day so special. He's turning into such a big boy.

Elliot is 10 Months Old!

Once again, I have fallen behind. So I will now inundate you with posts. Time is going too quickly!! I love to see my baby boy grow but sometimes I wish that time would just stand still.

At 10 months old, Elliot is EVERYWHERE!He is starting to eat more and more foods and he has 4 teeth :). He is still nursing well and is waking up once at night STILL. That's my fault. I'm too tired so I just put him in the bed with us. So he's spoiled rotten. He's on the big boy side of daycare and he has a ball playing with his friends there.

Elliot is 9 months old!!

I'm behind so just catching up a bit. My little man is getting so big. At his 9 month  checkup (he was actually about 9 1/2 months), he weighed 20 lbs 9 ounces! He has officially outweighed big brother at the same age. Isaac was 20 lbs 2 ounces when he turned one. haha. Elliot is everywhere now!! He is pulling up and standing while holding on to anything - toys, the sofa, Molly. He has been on the "big boy" side of his daycare and he is having a ball since he is able to really crawl around and play without worrying about the little bitty ones.

Isaac is SO good with his baby brother. He helps me out a lot and loves to show Elliot things. And Elliot loves laughing at his big brother! It definitely warms my heart to see them together <3 .="" nbsp="" p="">

Welcome to Kindergarten!

I can't believe how big my Isaac is getting! A few weeks ago he started kindergarten. He started at a brand new school, and he has been making a lot of new friends. We also really like his teacher, Mrs. Skinner. So far we've been working on his sight words and getting used to his big boy schedule. He's  not crazy about the school bus in the morning yet but he's getting used to it :). We can't wait to see what kindergarten has in store for him!

Elliot is 8 Months Old!

Ok, almost caught up :).

Elliot has learned so many new things over the past few months! It really is crazy how quickly they grow in that first year. He has become a pro at eating off the spoon. I've been making his foods like I did with Isaac, and so far the only one he dislikes is bananas. Seriously...what baby doesn't like bananas? haha. His favorite so far are peas, sweet potatoes, and peaches.

He also got his first tooth. I forgot how adorable they look with the start of one little bottom tooth ♥
Within the past month, Elliot has also started creeping. He pushes himself with his feet. He also gets up on his knees and pumps back and forth. haha. He'll figure it out soon enough. My baby boy is getting so big! 

Elliot's First Fourth of July

This year is going by so quickly! For the Fourth of July, we decided to stay on the northshore, and we went to the Mandeville Seafood Festival for good food, music, and fireworks! Goddie and Nanny came too. The food was so yummy...of course Isaac only wanted a snowball. Isaac had fun playing on the beach with Nanny. And the fireworks were beautiful too!

Elliot is 7 Months Old!

I'm such a slacker. He's actually 8 months, but I'll do that post next. Let's pretend I did this one on time and I'll update you to that point :). haha.

At seven months, Elliot is so much fun! We just recently started spoon feeding oatmeal. He's really not eating much at all, but we're trying. He also still trying to get steady sitting alone. He's still nursing and taking his 5 ounce bottles each day. He's doing so well at daycare. We haven't had any issues with them, so that makes mommy feel better :).

He's still not sleeping at night. That would be nice!! But no. He's still waking up about twice during the night to nurse. I'm trying really hard to get him comfy in his own crib. His favorite things are his jumperoo and when mommy sings songs with him.

Isaac's Chattanooga Trip

While Elliot and I were in Nashville last month, Isaac went on a vacation with Tat and Omi. They took a road trip to Chattanooga to visit Omi's sister. They spent time downtown playing at the riverfront, as well as time riding bikes. Omi even got a really cool little seat for Isaac so that he can ride on Tat's bike. They also went to the aquarium and to Lake Winnie Amusement Park.

He had a blast! Thank you so much to Tat and Omi for creating these memories for Isaac. We love all the pictures!!

Trip to Nashville

A few weeks ago, I went to a work conference in Nashville. I am so excited that I got to bring Elliot with me, since my mom was able to come and help out. We decided to drive so it was Elliot's real long roadtrip. He did so well on the road!! Well, on the way there. On the way back, he had a tough time.

It was actually my first time in Nashville so it was really nice to get to see a few things. We got to enjoy some good food, as well as go to a park, go shopping at the Opry Mills Mall, and shop at the Grand Ole Opry. On the way back we saw a sign for the "Ave Maria Grotto" in Alabama. We had no idea what that was, so we had to stop. I'm glad we did!
