A Day for Mothers

Mother's Day was awesome this year. Isaac, Andrew, and ate breakfast/brunch at the Court of Two Sisters. If you live in New Orleans and have never been there, you're definitely missing out! We had really good food at the buffet and I enjoyed a mimosa as well :)



Just like last year, we went to a crawfish boil at my cousin's house. It was a lot of fun to spend time with my cousins, and the food was awesome :). Isaac had a lot of fun swimming and jumping on the trampoline. We were also able to spend some time with Nanny, Grandma, and Great Gram. We are so blessed to have such amazing mommies in our lives, including Omi. As for myself, being a mom is absolutely amazing. Isaac has been such a blessing in my life.

Mother's Day

This year for Mother's Day we went to my cousin Maritza's house for a crawfish boil. It was fun to get the cousins together with all the children. Some of the kids also went swimming. The night before we had went to dinner with Andrew's parents to celebrate the day with them. Oh, and on Friday I got flowers delivered to work :) I am so blessed.

My First Mother's Day!

So we just had a great weekend-and I had a great first Mother's Day! I had some relaxation and we also had some fun. We did a little arts and crafts on Sunday morning which I always love and then we went to a nearby park. It was a lot of fun to run around with Molly and to watch Isaac continuously grab at grass. haha. I truly feel blessed to have him in my life. He makes me smile everyday...I know it sounds cliche but seriously, being a mom is a feeling that is unexplainable! Hope all the other mommies out there had a great day!
