Isaac's Dedication

A couple of weeks ago Isaac got dedicated at the Vineyard in Kenner. It was a beautiful ceremony and a great chance for our family to get closer to God. I know I say this a lot but everyday I thank God for giving us Isaac. He truly has changed our lives for the better. After the dedication we had a BBQ. Thank you so much to everyone that helped to organize this-especially my dad and Holly. We also want to thank Jenny and Seg for being Isaac's godparents. Our hope is that Isaac will grow up and will have you both as special people in his life to help guide him in the right direction. We love ya'll!! My pictures came out crappy but hopefully I'll get some better ones and repost.
All the grandparents...bad quality =(
Horrible quality-I'll upload better ones later.

Austin's Army

Well, this year we are able to participate in the Angelman Walk. For those who don't know, our nephew Austin has Angelman Syndrome. Click here to donate or to find out more about Austin. We are so excited to be in Houston now so that we can be here to participate and to support the cause with family. We love you Austin!

Isaac is 7 months old!!

Ok, so apparently it's impossible for me to put a piece of paper next to Isaac without him destroying it. I also couldn't get him to sit up and hold the sign (and be able to hold it). He also wasn't feeling that well this day. Turns out he had roseola and he had a cold...still does a little bit. So in these pics he's relaxing. He's doing great overall. He doesn't keep still anymore and you can barely hold him unless he's sleepy. They said at daycare all he does is roll and scoot on the floor. He's also eating 3 servings a vegetables a day (2 at lunch and 1 at dinner). He's also eating rice cereal at breakfast. We're gonna try squash next and then start him on fruits. He's also sitting up for much longer periods on his own. He's also holding his bottle on his own (unless you show him you'll do it...he's lazy like that).I can't believe how fast he's growing up.

Notice the crinkled paper...

Happy Easter!

We had a great, relaxing Easter this year. On Saturday we took Isaac to go see the Easter bunny...as you can see, he was so excited! Then we went to Ashley and Chad's for an Easter egg hunt with the kids. We had a lot of fun. On Sunday we hung out at home and Andrew, Isaac, and Molly all got Easter baskets. Overall, it was a relaxing weekend spent with family.
So excited!

Creeping

Isaac is starting to really get around now...Guess I should start babyproofing!

5 a day!

So we started Isaac on carrots the other day. He seemed to like them =). I was able to make them using my Babycook and that was really fun. I'm going to try to make all his baby food...but we'll see how it goes. We'll continue to add more veggies into his diet and then we'll start fruits.

Family Weekend

We went to New Orleans a couple of weekends ago and got to spend a lot of time with family. It was little Davin's first communion so of course, this called for a crawfish boil. It was also a good time for Isaac to meet Ava. I have the hugest family with a million cousins and they all have kids too. It was mad chaos, but lots of fun! On Sunday, Isaac got to stop by and see Nanny and Poppy. With all this family, Isaac will always know that he's loved!
