Geaux Hornets!

Since football season is over (a disappointing one at that :( ), we've found ourselves now rooting for the Hornets! I've never been a basketball fan, but since Tat has season tickets I went to my first game during the playoffs last year. It was a blast! Last weekend Isaac went to his first game. The games are really family friendly-he got his face painted and had a lot of fun with all the music playing. We have to work on rooting for the right team though. He kept yelling "go tigers!" and "who dat!" haha.

Christmas 2011

Sorry I'm late in posting. Camera issues :( This past Christmas was amazing! We hosted at our house on Christmas Eve where we had some amazing food and fun with family. We opened presents at midnight, and this year Isaac was able to participate! The next day he played with his presents from Santa, which included rollerskates with a helmet! He also got the slinky dog from Toy Story and some movies. On Christmas Day we went to Nanny and Poppy's and had brunch and later went to my cousin's house to spend time with the WHOLE family. We were all spoiled this year. Thank you to everyone for sharing this special time with us!

*Pictures courtesy of Omi's camera. I have no pics of Nanny's house :( Sorry!

Christmas Program

This is the first Christmas for Isaac at his current school, and they did a Christmas program for family and friends. Both Andrew and I were able to go, as well as Grandma and Poppy. It was adorable!! Compared to his last school performance, he performed much more. Although he didn't really sing at all, he did dance and take part. One of the funniest parts was caught on video when he came down the aisle towards us instead of up to the altar with the class.

Geaux Tigers!!

I've made posts about how much we love the Saints, and well...we share that love with the LSU Tigers. We're so excited that they'll be in the championship this year and that they're undefeated! Here are some pics of us rooting them on!

Thanksgiving 2011

Whew! Sorry I've been absent...work has been so busy! We have a new dietitian starting next week though so that'll definitely help :) This year we had a great Thanksgiving! It was the first time in years that we were able to spend the holiday with both my dad and my mom! In fact, we went to Lafayette to Tat and Omi's. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside with some beautiful decorations.

This year I am thankful for so much. First, my family-Andrew, Isaac, and Molly who keep me smiling each day. I'm also thankful for my family and well as Andrew's for being so supportive and helpful. I'm thankful for my new job and for Andrew's school as well. I am so blessed.

Trick or Treat!!

Although this was not Isaac's first Halloween, it was the first time that he was so excited for this day. He's been talking so well and it was so funny to hear him saying "trick or treat" over and over and over (and that was before they opened the door!). haha. The Saturday night before Halloween, we went to Lafreniere Park for Park-a-Boo. He had a blast doing some trick or treating, some carnival games, and getting his face painted.

On Halloween night, daddy had to work. But Goddie, Grandma, Isaac, Molly, and I went trick or treating in the neighborhood. He had so much fun and got some goodies! He looked so cute in his knight costume too :) Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Isaac's First Tailgating Experience!

We haven't tailgated this much, but since the Saints vs. Colts game was a night game we were able to tailgate this past weekend. And Tat's been wanting Isaac at a Saints game for awhile now...since that hasn't happened yet, this was the first step. He was out there with us from 10:30 to about 5 and he did great! We played with play doh, danced, and ate. We didn't have to resort to cartoons until the last hour. He had a blast tailgating with us. What a fun day with Tat and Omi! Thank you Nanny and Poppy for picking Isaac up for us (and dropping daddy off). And just because I can...how bout dem Saints?! Who dat?!
