Donuts with Daddy
Last week Isaac's school had Donuts with Daddy where they celebrated daddies! They sang a song and all the little chefs served up some donuts for their daddies. Isaac is so blessed to have such an awesome daddy. Of course I don't have a picture of them together because well, daddy didn't think of that! haha. We love you!

Conversations with my love
Isaac is talking up a storm. And sometimes he blabs, and I have no idea what he's saying. With this new job, I'm able to pick Isaac up from school everyday. He gets so excited when he sees me, and I love it :). After I pick him up and we get in the car, I always ask him about his day. He tells me what he colored and he pulls out his paper, "I color this!"
Today he told me he went to chapel-they go every Wednesday. I asked him what he did and he put his hands in position and said "I pray." haha.
And the funniest thing...yesterday he told me that he prays at school. When I asked him when, he said "When I eat sandwich."
Our afternoon conversations have been one of the favorite parts of the day. I am amazed by how much he's talking and how insightful he can be sometimes. He comments on people's feelings, even Molly..."She's sad."
I'm so proud of my boy.

Sometimes...
I can't take it. Ugh, I think I may love him too much. Is that even possible? I worry about every little thing and sometimes I have no idea how I'm going to let him grow up without me freaking out over every little thing. He's starting to say "baba" and "dada" now (He says "baba" a LOT and we think it's bc we call him bubs and bubba). He may not know what he's saying...but we hear him saying it. Tonight he also crawled into the sitting position. It prompted me to look at old pictures of bubs and cry. Every moment with him is exactly where I want to be. Sometimes during rough days at work I go in the bathroom and cry because I miss him. I hate to be away from him. I really don't know what I'm going to do when I have to let go...ugh. I swear...I love him so much...I never thought I could love someome so much. Hate to sound cliche, but it's just the truth.
Looking back...

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
So as you all know, our family has been through a lot of changes in the past year and we've needed a lot of help from those around us. These past couple of months have definitely been the hardest as we transitioned from Hawaii to New Orleans and now to Houston. Isaac and I are settled in here now but it hasn't been easy. We just want to take the time to thank everyone so much for all the help that you've given us to help make this transition easier for us. Thank you to Jolee and Daniel for letting us stay at your house when we moved out of ours and were waiting to move to New Orleans. Thank you to Jenn for everything...the airport trip, helping us pack up and send the truck, all the baby stuff, and helping us get closer to God. Thank you to Andrew's grandparents for letting us stay at their house for 2 months and for my mom and Andrew's parents for always volunteering to watch Isaac for us. Thank you to my dad and Holly for always being there for us when we need you and for helping with the internship...it's great to know that you'll always be there for us. Thank you to Andrew's parents for letting Andrew stay there and letting him use a car when needed. Thank you to my mom for letting us leave boxes and more random stuff at the house. Thank you to my dad, Shane, my mom, and Holly for helping with the move. Dad, we know driving a Uhaul to Houston on a weekend is not your idea of fun. Thank you to my dad and Holly for letting Andrew and I meet at the house and do laundry =). Thank you to my mom, Andrew's mom, and Holly for taking turns and staying with me weekly for the first 3 weeks so that I can settle in and adjust to the internship. We really don't know how I could have done it without ya'll. Thank you to Ashley and Chad for helping us any way that you can. I'm so excited that we'll be spending more time together. Thank you to everyone else for caring about us and for loving Isaac. And most of all, thank you to God. As usual, He is taking care of us.
