Trip to Nashville

A few weeks ago, I went to a work conference in Nashville. I am so excited that I got to bring Elliot with me, since my mom was able to come and help out. We decided to drive so it was Elliot's real long roadtrip. He did so well on the road!! Well, on the way there. On the way back, he had a tough time.

It was actually my first time in Nashville so it was really nice to get to see a few things. We got to enjoy some good food, as well as go to a park, go shopping at the Opry Mills Mall, and shop at the Grand Ole Opry. On the way back we saw a sign for the "Ave Maria Grotto" in Alabama. We had no idea what that was, so we had to stop. I'm glad we did!

Lakehouse 2012!

We are so blessed that we were able to go to the Lakehouse this year. It just so happened to be our anniversary as well-6 years! Some of my family members were with us...we enjoyed the lake, played ping pong, games, went bike riding, and also went to see George Lopez standup. Isaac had a blast looking at all the deer. We all had so much fun!

Austin's Army 2012

We are so excited that we were able to make it to Houston this year for Austin's Army.The team raised a lot of money and we are so proud of Austin's progress he has made! We were able to spend the whole weekend so the kids had a lot of fun playing together. It's always fun to see that! We love you, Austin!

Weekend in Houston

Our weekend in Houston was a lot of fun!! The road trip was long and we were all tired from traveling late, but Isaac loved watching the big trucks on the road. During the trip, he was able to spend a lot of time with his cousins. On Friday the kids played together and then Saturday we had the Angelman Walk. That was in the Woodlands, which was gorgeous. Summer and Isaac had a blast in their matching shirts.
We are so proud of Austin. He walked to the finish line at the end. He's made so much progress in the past year, and we are so blessed to have him in our lives.
Later on Saturday, Luke had his first birthday party. I can't believe he's already one! Time sure does fly. He is so adorable and is such a big boy :).
It was great to spend time with the family. Thanks to Ashley and Chad for a great weekend! Here's a pic we got with all the grandkids, Nanny, and Poppy. It's about as good as we can get :)

Galveston Daytrip

This past weekend Tat, Omi, and Tio Shane came to visit. We went out to eat on Friday and then on Saturday we went to Galveston for a day trip. We spent most the day at Schlitterbahn which is a massive water park. It was fun but really crowded! Andrew and Shane went on almost all the slides, while we took Isaac to the kiddie pools. Looks like he had a blast too! That evening we went to The Strand which is the section where there are a lot of little shops, and we ate over there. Thanks for a great trip Tat and Omi!

Our Babymoon

What is a babymoon, you ask? Well..."the books" say that mom and dad should take a trip before baby comes so that they can bond. Plus it was a good chance for us to go to Maui =). We had a really good time relaxing, going to beaches, and travelling the Road to Hana. This road is only about 30 something miles but takes about 4 hours because it's really windy and you stop along the way to go hiking and go to beaches. It was gorgeous! I'm so glad that we were able to go because it was a great time for Andrew and I to spend some alone time together. Check out the pictures!
