Fourth of July Weekend!

This year for the Fourth of July, we spent a lot of day with family. On Sunday we had a BBQ at my cousin's house. Isaac played in the pool with his cousins and daddy got to go frogging! (Funny story).

The next day we went out on the boat with Tat, Omi, Goddie, and more cousins! We were in Slidell this time. We had a blast :)

Memorial Day Weekend on the Boat!

Unfortunately, I had to work on Memorial Day...but we still had a great weekend. Tat and Omi came in town and brought their boat. We went out on the Tchefuncte River on the northshore, and we had a lot of fun! Of course Tat and Omi came, along with grandma. We met my cousin Erin, Chris, and little Kadyn there. Thanks Tat and Omi for a fun day! Isaac had so much fun on the water.

Springtime!

It's definitely springtime in New Orleans. That means it's hot...but not TOO hot. haha. Because of the beautiful weather, we're finding ourselves outside with Isaac everyday. Not to mention, he spends at least 45 minutes outside everyday at school. He loves the outdoors. Last weekend we put up our new vegetable garden. Well, some of it. We have an herb garden and then in a separate bed we have squash, zucchini, and peas. When Tat and Omi come next weekend, they'll bring my other bed where I'll put yellow and green bell peppers and green beans. Then in two separate pots I'll have spinach and tomatoes. I'm being ambitious this year.




Today we went to Lafreniere Park and ate lunch. Isaac went on the carousel twice with daddy! He also climbed up and went down the big boy slide all alone. Of course I was a nervous wreck! Tomorrow he's singing in the church service so I'll have some pics/video for ya'll :) Can't wait to see him.

Weekend Trip

Hi everyone! Hope it's been a great week so far. We went to Lafayette this past weekend to visit Tat, Omi, and Tio Shane. Sunday was Tio Seg's birthday so he and G were there as well. We had a lot of fun spending time with everyone. We weren't able to go until Saturday afternoon because Andrew has class but we still hung out and played games that evening and night. On Sunday, everyone went to a nearby park to hang out and play...that is everyone but me. I got really sick and ended up in bed all day. I wasn't able to keep anything down all day...including during the ride home! Fortunately, Daddy was there to take some great pictures. Thank you to everyone we spent the weekend with...just for being you and for making me laugh :) Love ya'll!
