Elliot's First Halloween!

This year Isaac was Wolverine for Halloween. Although I wanted the kids to match, it didn't happen. Instead, Elliot was a skeleton. But, they were too cute anyway :). We went over to my cousin's house, where Halloween is a big deal in their subdivision. It was a really wet, yucky night...but daddy braved the weather to trick or treat with Isaac anyway. Hope everyone else had a fun time!

Halloween 2012

This year, Isaac wanted to be Batman for Halloween. Well actually, he keeps just saying "a bat" and then picked the Batman costume. I wanted to trick or treat in our new neighborhood, but instead we decided to go to my cousin's house nearby. This worked out perfectly because as mentioned in my last post, I was put on bed rest that day and wasn't able to actually go trick or treating-plus daddy had school and couldn't go either. While I sat on the sofa, my cousins helped me out by taking him (along with their kids) through the neighborhood. From the pics, looks like he had a blast and he certainly brought back enough candy for the family. haha. Thank you so much to my cousins for helping me out!! Love ya'll so much.

Trick or Treat!!

Although this was not Isaac's first Halloween, it was the first time that he was so excited for this day. He's been talking so well and it was so funny to hear him saying "trick or treat" over and over and over (and that was before they opened the door!). haha. The Saturday night before Halloween, we went to Lafreniere Park for Park-a-Boo. He had a blast doing some trick or treating, some carnival games, and getting his face painted.



On Halloween night, daddy had to work. But Goddie, Grandma, Isaac, Molly, and I went trick or treating in the neighborhood. He had so much fun and got some goodies! He looked so cute in his knight costume too :) Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Halloween Weekend

So I'm such a last minute mom, that I didn't actually buy Isaac a costume. haha. I worked with what we had. On Saturday we took Isaac to a pumpkin patch where we tried to get some pictures...didn't work out too well. We also went to one of his cousin's birthday party. We dressed him as a Mexican soccer player and he was too cute! We carved pumpkins with his Tio Shane Saturday night. We tailgated all day on Sunday for the Saints game so we had Saints themed costumes...he was Sean Payton but was not liking his headset! He spent most the day and the afternoon with Nanny and Poppy. I think he had a fun weekend!

Trick or Treat!

This was Isaac's first year trick or treating and from the looks of it, he had a blast! Nanny and poppy came in town and the whole family was able to hang out. It was really fun to see Isaac and Summer playing together. Now that he's walking, she would hold his hand and they would walk together through the house. All of the kids were so cute in their costumes! Isaac was a monkey, Austin was batman, and Summer was a dancer. Isaac was very well behaved all day but did start crying when he saw Uncle C in his mask! We are so blessed and had a great time.

Happy Halloween!

So I caved and bought Isaac a Halloween costume only for pictures. HAHA. At least I waited last minute and got it 50% off. It's a very comfy outfit...he's only crying in one because he was hungry, but after feeding him (IN the costume I might add), he was fine. That last 2 pictures are in the outfit that Andrew's mom got Isaac. It is adorable but still a little big. He's gonna wear that tonight but I put him in it so I can take pictures now. He had just eaten so he wans't interested at all. Happy Halloween everyone!!
