OUCH!!

Isaac started his biting stage and my nipples are not happy. This is what the baby books say I should do:

Try not to scream. While it will get baby's attention, it may also be a "reward" for that high need baby who likes lots of action. Tell him in a firm voice,"No, that hurts Mommy!" and put him down. He won't like it, but he will quickly learn that if he wants to nurse, he can't bite. Be sure to comfort him after a few seconds, but don't continue to let him nurse if he bites.

Don't worry, I won't continue to nurse him if he bites me. But I'll tell you now...show of hands from anyone who thinks I don't yelp loudly or even cry (yes, once I did) when he bites. That's what I thought. haha

Isaac is 10 months old!!

I can't believe he's 10 months old. I know I say that every month but I really mean it. Isn't he the cutest little baby ever?? =)

Isaac's playmate

So it appears that Isaac has a new playmate. Ever since we got back from Austin, Molly has not been scared of Isaac. I'm not sure if she was scared or if she just wasn't interested in him but now she lets him climb all over here and she just lays there. It's really cute!

Fourth of July

So this Fourth of July was Isaac's first and we had a blast! We went to the lakehouse in Austin with family and friends. We even brougth Molly along. We had a blast and it was great to spend time away from home with people we love!
